About:
My name is Timothy Naslund and I am the founding owner of Nasco Mechanical Inc. Being in the HVAC trade for over ten years, I have been fortunate to have a vast exposure to various types and different applications of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. I have worked for small, family-owned businesses, for a corporate entities, large distribution facilities, and still, to this day, the School Board of Broward County, serving the entire district.
Over the years, I have come to the realization that in order for me to continue growing my career in the HVAC trade, I needed my own autonomy to open up different avenues of opportunity. I wanted to further practice my craft and learn more and more of the industry. In essence, my yearning to continue to learn, as I believe learning is the catalyst for creation and joy in our lives, has brought me here, to tackle the endeavor of being a business-owner, an endeavor I approach with profound reverence and excitement.
Being a tradesman allows one to indulge in the pleasures of fixing a problem. To be able to show up to a hot building or a walk-in freezer, slowly rising in temperature, and being able to correct whatever problem caused the system to go awry is a self-satisfying feeling that had not lost its glimmer in all of the years I’ve experienced that fulfilling sensation. I have built Nasco Mechanical as a way to manifest that feeling, the joy I receive from my work, my craft, and I only hope that my work reflects that sentiment.
